Waldo Party and Memorial Park Discussion Thursday in Maplewood

Don't miss the grand prize drawing and celebration of "Where's Waldo" at 4 p.m. at Words Bookstore in Maplewood. The top prize is a six-volume deluxe set of Waldo books. 

The Maplewood Historic Preservation Commission (MHPC) will host a public meeting on ideas and proposals for a Master Plan for Memorial Park at the Community Room of the Burgdorff Center, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood on Thursday from 5- 8 p.m. 

Teens: always wanted to try your hand at acting? Here's your chance: Acting Technique at the Hilton Branch of the Maplewood Library is at 6:30 pm. Learn the basic fundamentals of acting! Play a part in fun acting exercises and discussion that will also inspire confidence. Register in the Teen Zone at Main. 

Auditions for “Carrie: The Musical” are being held July 25-27 by interACT Theatre Productions. Appointments are strongly suggested. Nicholas J. Clarey will direct this musical based on the book by Stephen King. Auditions are 6:30-9 p.m.
