Pickup truck crosses center line and hits minivan.
Â
A woman was injured when the minivan she was driving was hit head-on by a pickup truck on Burnett Avenue in front of Woolley Fuel on Friday, according to Capt. Joseph Callaghan of the Maplewood Fire Department.
The pickup crossed the center line and hit the minivan, said Callaghan. Rescue 36 personnel had to cut and remove the driver's side door to extricate the woman, whose leg was caught on the dashboard, said Callaghan. Rescue personnel transported the woman to Saint Barnabas Hospital for observation, said Callaghan; she is expected to fully recover. There were no passengers in the minivan.
