Women's Club Ribbon Cutting Held on Small Business Saturday

A special ribbon cutting will be held on Saturday, November 30, 11 am in Ricalton Square.

The Maplewood Village Alliance announced that a replica of the Maplewood Woman's Club will be added to Dickens Village this year and a special ribbon cutting will be held on Saturday, November 30, 11 a.m. in Ricalton Square.

The building and inclusion of the Woman's Club House in Dickens Village is part of the purchase agreement between the Club and the Township of Maplewood. Members off the Woman’s Club, The Maplewood Village Alliance and Township officials will be present.

“This lovely endeavor was a true collaboration of Maplewood residents, businesses, the Township and the Woman’s Club. The addition of the replica to Dickens Village will help preserve the history of the Maplewood Woman’s Club, “ said Dickens Village co-chair, Ellen Davenport. "We would especially like to thank John James Architect for the design and blueprints, Tom Nevius for the construction and Kevin Sheridan of Rutgers Painting for the paint.“
