Matawan-Aberdeen Train Station Apartments Now Complete
Rents at The Link at Aberdeen Station start at $1,800. The first building has been open to tenants since March.
ABERDEEN, NJ — The fifth and final building is now complete at the new apartment complex at the Matawan-Aberdeen train station.
The Link at Aberdeen Station is five buildings in total, with 227 apartment units total. The first building has been open to tenants since March, but as of this September, construction on the entire complex is now complete and all five buildings are open.
Currently, monthly rental prices start from the $1,800s. Aberdeen Twp. has long sought to develop the 20-acre site right next to the NJ Transit station; it's about an hour's ride into Manhattan.

The so-called "transit village," or transit-oriented development (TOD) offers "upscale amenities and Manhattan-style luxury in an environment designed to encourage social interaction." The apartment complex has a lounge, a fitness center, various work-from-home areas, a private conference room, a dog park and an outdoor swimming pool with BBQ area.
There is complimentary WiFi throughout all common areas, and electric car charging stations.
