2 Middlesex Teens Charged With Starting Fire On Lincoln Avenue
Two teenagers from Middlesex borough were arrested and charged with starting a fire in a commercial building on Wednesday night.
MIDDLESEX, NJ — Two teenagers from Middlesex borough have now been arrested and charged with burglarizing and starting a fire in a commercial building in town. The fire broke out just before midnight Wednesday night, at a building on the 800 block of Lincoln Blvd., said the county prosecutor.
Ryan Deahl, 18, of Middlesex was arrested Thursday and charged with arson, conspiracy to commit arson, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary; all third-degree crimes. In addition, Deahl was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; both disorderly person offenses.
Eric Mejia-Vides, 18, also of Middlesex was also arrested Thursday and charged with conspiracy to commit arson, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, all third-degree crimes.

Just before midnight on Wednesday, Middlesex police and fire were dispatched to the area of the 800 block of Lincoln Boulevard on the report of a smoke condition. One firefighter was injured fighting the blaze.
The Middlesex Police Department said they quickly determined the cause of the fire was of a criminal nature.
