7-Eleven Proposed For Lincoln Blvd. In Middlesex Borough

A 7-Eleven, plus a new gas station, will likely soon be coming to the high-traffic intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Raritan Ave.

MIDDLESEX BOROUGH, NJ — A 7-Eleven, plus a new gas station, will likely soon be coming to Middlesex borough, at the high-traffic intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Raritan Avenue, pictured above.

The 7-Eleven would replace the existing gas station that is there currently. The existing gas station and garage would be torn down and replaced with a 2,940-square-foot 7-Eleven with 12 gas pumps, MyCentralJersey reported.

This is part of a proposal put forth by 99 Lincoln Boulevard LLC, the owner of the acre of land at that intersection.

According to the full report on MyCentralJersey, this is only the latest plan to develop the Lincoln Boulevard corridor. A Super Foodtown with a True Value hardware store inside will be replacing the former Pathmark in that area.

Before the 7-Eleven can be built, the LLC needs the town of Middlesex's approval, and the proposal will be heard before the Middlesex planning board at 7:30 p.m. on July 11. The planning board meets in the Middlesex municipal borough on Mountain Avenue.
