Dunellen Custodian Charged With Touching Girl, 6, At His Home
He works as a custodian at the Harding Twp. School in Morris County, but police say the molestation took place at his home in Dunellen.

DUNELLEN, NJ — A man who works as a school custodian has been arrested and charged with sexual assault and child endangerment for inappropriately touching a 6-year-old female child.
Arnoldo Veliz-Chamale, 61, works as a custodian at the Harding Township School located in Morris County, but police say the alleged molestation took place at his home in the borough of Dunellen.
Police say that from approximately October 2018 through December 2018, Veliz-Chamale had inappropriately touched the 6-year old female child at his home located in Dunellen. He was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree, and two counts of sexual assault in the second degree.

He has been employed at the Morris County public school as a custodian for the past 11 years. It is not clear if the child was a student at the school.
He is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick pending his initial court appearance today.
