Increased Middlesex Boro Cops On These Roads This Week

MIDDLESEX, NJ — At the start of every week, the Middlesex police department will inform the public of those areas in the borough where they will intensify enforcement of traffic violations.

While enforcement of traffic violations will continue throughout the borough and especially in school zones, these areas will receive additional focus for the week of Sept. 29 - Oct. 5:

Location: Washington Avenue

Issue: Stop Sign Violations, Overweight Vehicles

Location: Union Avenue/Lorraine Avenue

Issue: Speeding, School Pedestrian Safety

Location: Union Avenue/Raritan Avenue

Issue: Red Light Violations

Last week’s traffic enforcement consisted of 145 motor vehicle stops conducted by Middlesex police officers.
