Middlesex Borough Fall Family Festival Is Oct. 7

Bring your own pumpkin for painting. Moon bounce, arts and crafts, pumpkin bowling, donut on a string, face painting, live music and more!

MIDDLESEX, NJ — Middlesex Borough and the Department of Recreation wish to invite Borough residents to attend the 9th Annual Fall Family Festival on Saturday, October 7 at Mountainview Park from 3 - 6 p.m. The aim of this community event is to celebrate the beginning of the fall season with family, friends and neighbors and the Borough is looking to make this year’s event better than ever. The rain date will be Sunday, October 8.

“The Fall Family Festival is an event that truly marks the beginning of the fall season here in Middlesex Borough,” said Mayor Ron DiMura. “I hope that our residents will join us in this annual event that helps give back to our community and helps promote community connectivity.”

This event is free to all Borough residents and all those who attend are encouraged to bring a canned good/non-perishable food item for each person attending. All donated goods will be donated to FISH, a local hospitality organization that provides meals to families in need. Items that are encouraged include bottled juice, instant potatoes, cereal, rice, uncooked pasta and other canned items.

The festival boasts a variety of activities for children of all ages, including arts and crafts, pumpkin bowling, donut on a string, face painting, a moonbounce, live music and more. There will be a pumpkin painting station if you bring your own pumpkin to the festival! Refreshments will also be available in the afternoon.
