Middlesex Borough Police Hold Fishing Derby June 3
Children in grades K-8th may compete in the derby, which is from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Victor Crowell Park, rain or shine, on June 3.

MIDDLESEX, NJ — The Middlesex Borough Police Department will be hosting a Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Victor Crowell Park, rain or shine. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants can also pre-register.
Children in grades K-8th may compete in the derby. All children participating MUST be accompanied by an adult and a registration form MUST be completed. Children should bring their own fishing gear on the day of the event. Bait will be available at the park. This event will be a catch and release event and will be held rain or shine. Giveaways will be provided to participants on a first come, first served basis.
Use the registration form on Middlesex Borough Police Department’s website and return it by mail (Middlesex Borough Police, Attn: Community Policing, 1101 Mountain Avenue, Middlesex, NJ, 08846), email (cp@middlesexpd.com) or register in person at the Middlesex Borough Police Department. The event is open to residents of the borough and surrounding towns.

What to bring!
We encourage you to bring: Protective eyewear (glasses, goggles), fishing rod, tackle box and bucket, hat, sunscreen, rain gear.

You should think about bringing: Insect repellent, blanket or portable chairs to sit on, hand sanitizer, camera.
Derby Features: Fishing competition and prizes (free for participants), snacks and drinks provided to participating children.
