MIDDLESEX, NJ — Middlesex Borough and the Department of Recreation are excited to announce that the annual Middlesex Borough Community Day is back for 2017 on Saturday, August 19 from 4 - 9 p.m.! Located at Mountain View Park off of John F. Kennedy Drive, this annual event provides entertainment and activities suitable for all ages, including a fireworks show to close out the night. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for Sunday, August 20.
“It is important that we continue to promote community positivity within our Borough through events like Community Day,” said Middlesex Mayor Ron DiMura. “I am excited that Community Day is back and it is my hope that each year it will continue to grow and be able to fully engage the residents in our area.”
Residents of Middlesex borough will be able to enjoy concessions from local vendors as well as a variety of games and amusements, including a balloon sculptor, face painter, The Fun Bus and Game Truck. Community Day will also provide live entertainment with stage performances beginning at 4 p.m. Once the sun sets, residents are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to watch the fireworks show over Mountainview Park.
