Middlesex Woman Charged In Little League Burglary Spree

Angela Perez, 34, of Middlesex, was arrested Monday alongside Michael Kaloudis, 31, of Stanhope, in a traffic stop in Bergen County.

MIDDLESEX, NJ — A Middlesex borough woman is part of a duo allegedly responsible for breaking into nearly 30 Little League concession stands all over New Jersey, law enforcement authorities said on Tuesday.

Angela Perez, 34, of Middlesex, was arrested Monday alongside Michael Kaloudis, 31, of Stanhope, reported the Morris County Sheriff's Office. The pair were arrested during a traffic stop in Bergen County on Monday. They both face burglary charges in connection to the Little League break-ins, a spokesperson for the Morris County Sheriff said.

As Patch reported last week, at least 27 Little League concession stands have been broken into since mid-April. The Little League field closest to home allegedly hit by the duo is Woodbridge Little League, where surveillance video caught the man and woman breaking into the concession stand on Van Buren Street.

The burglaries, which span April 24 through June 20, have been reported in Morris, Bergen, Essex, Middlesex, Passaic and Sussex counties. The couple breaks down the doors of the structures and steals cash, candy, beverages and other items, according to the Morris County Sheriff. In one town, the duo made off with as much as $700 cash.
