Piscataway Krauszer's Sells $25K Lottery Ticket
"This is such nice news! We are so happy," said Kailas Patel, who owns the 424 South Washington Ave. Krauszer's with her husband.

PISCATAWAY, NJ — The Krauszer’s Food Store on South Washington Avenue in Piscataway sold a $25,000 winning lottery ticket this week, the New Jersey State Lottery announced Wednesday. The Jersey Cash 5 ticket matched the numbers in the Tuesday, Aug. 1 drawing, which were: 20, 22, 52, 57 and 73. That ticket was purchased with the Megaplier option (which was 5), which multiplied the prize from a mere $5,000 to $25,000.
"This is such nice news! We are so happy," said Kailas Patel, who owns the 424 South Washington Ave. Krauszer's with her husband, Arvind Patel.
This is not the first time that Krauszer's sold a winning ticket: In 2010, a regular customer there, a father of two young children, bought a $250,000 winning lottery ticket. Patel said he moved away from the area after winning because she never saw him again.
