Supreme Stars are the Champions of USACPL T10 Night Cricket Bash

USACPL (USA Cricket Premier League) T10 Night Cricket Bash Season - 3 was held in Tinton Falls New Jersey under the guidance of ICC qualified coach and certified umpire Mudassar Safdar USA who is also chief organizer of USACPL and New Jersey Cricket Council. This year twelve (12) Best Teams of the region from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and neighboring states participated in this league and played good competitive cricket for 10 weeks.

In the first Semi Final of this T10 night cricket league Team Supreme Stars beat New York’s Team Super Stars and reached the Finals of this league. In second Semi Final, New Jersey’s team Edison Lions defeated New Jersey’s Evo9x-SR team and qualified for the big finals of this only organized Night Cricket Event of the region. Where as in division 2 of this league, Jersey Aces and Pak XI won their Semi Finals and booked their spot in the finals.

Before the start of the big final, both division 1 finalist teams along with match officials came to the center of the ground and observed one minute silence for the victims of Covid 19. At this time Head of Organizing Committee & Official Umpire Mudassar Safdar spoke to all the players and wish them good luck for the final match. In the final of this Mega Night Cricket League team Supreme Stars and Team Edison Lions both played an excellent match. Edison Lions won the toss and invited Supreme Stars to bat first. Batting first Supreme Stars scored 157 in their allotted 10 overs. Opener Imran Chaudhary, who has been in a sensational form this season, again played a scintillating knock of 82 not out. While Chasing NJ’s team Edison Lions lost wickets at regular intervals and only managed to score 108 so Supreme Stars won the final by 49 runs and became Champions of Season - 3 of USACPL T10 Night Cricket Bash. Later on, in division 2 final of this night cricket league Jersey Aces defeated Pak XI team in a one sided affair and win the division 2 trophy.

After the Finals Chief Organizer Mudassar Safdar thanked and appreciated all the teams and their players for coming out during these trying times and playing good quality cricket for last few weeks. At this time Faisal Khan was present who also gave away prizes along with Mudassar Safdar to the winners and Runner Up. Supreme Stars all-rounder Imran Chaudhary was adjudged MVP of the League. He also won the Man of the Series trophy. Whereas Best Player of the league trophy was awarded to Omar Micdad of Edison Lions. Best young umpires award was given to Muhammad Riyaz, Usman Javed and Talha Javed.

On the other hand, New Jersey Cricket Council and USACPL annual Champions Trophy Labor Day Tournament Final was also held same week. Twelve (12) Best teams played in the Champions Trophy Championship 2020. In the Finals of this Labor Day Weekend tournament, New York’s Team Khawaja Cricket Club defeated New York’s Super Stars Cricket Club and won the Champions Trophy 2020. The Champion’s team’s prolific batsman Abdul Rehman of Khawaja Cricket Club was best player of the final match. In the end, all the team Captains spoke and thanked the organizing team of this league and appreciated their efforts for staging one of the best night cricket league & tournament of the region.
