USACPL T10 Night Cricket Bash Season 2 Won by Punjabi Stallions

New York’s team Punjabi Stallions Overpowered New York Qalandars in the Final and emerge as new Champions of USACPL T10 Night Cricket Bash 2019. The USA Cricket Premier League (USACPL.COM) in association with New Jersey Cricket Council (NJ Cricket Council) successfully organized Season – 2 of Night Cricket T10 League involving the Best Cricket Teams of the region. This league was played on double round robin format and all the teams played one another twice over a period of 10 weeks before the final. The Finals of this Night Cricket Championship was held under Flood Lights at 3D grass synthetic turf fields in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. It is important to note that USACPL T10 Night Cricket Bash is only Night Tennis Tape ball Cricket League in the region organized under the guidance of Ex Cricket Player and now ICC Qualified Cricket Coach & Fully Certified Cricket Umpire Mudassar Safdar of NJ Cricket Council.

The matches of this year’s T10 League were very thrilling and exciting. All participating teams played exceptional cricket for the past two months. After initial rounds, 4 top teams NY Qalandars, Gorom Tawa Evening Club, AJKCC & Punjabi Stallions reached the semi-final stage of the Championship. In the first semi-final, Team NY Qalandars defeated AJKCC after a nail biting finish. The second semi-final was played between New Jersey’s Team Gorom Tawa Evening Club and New York’s Punjabi Stallions which was won by NY Punjabi Stallions. The Final of the T10 Night Cricket Bash was played between two top teams of this league Captain Hafiz Afzan’s Team NY Punjabi Stallions & Captain Fahad Mughal’s Team NY Qalandars at Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

World renowned, former ICC Elite Panel Test Umpire “Steve Bucknor” of West Indies was also present during the Finals night. The guest of honor for the Final was prominent figure of the community Dr Mohammad Zubair. Along with him USACW President Shafiq Khan, Faisal Khan, Kamran Khan & Farooq Chohan also graced the occasion for the post competition prize distribution ceremony along with the League Organizer Mudassar Safdar.

In the Final of USACPL T10 Night Cricket Bash 2019, NY Qalandars & NY Punjabi Stallions both teams played a great match but at the end it was New York’s Team Punjabi Stallions who kept their nerves to go past the finishing line and became the Champions of NJ Cricket Council & USACPL.COM Season -2 of T10 Night Cricket League.

Moreover, in Division 2 Finals of this Floodlight Tape ball T10 Cricket League, New Jesey’s Team Pak XI lead by Captain Usman Javed trounced Captain Mohammad Riaz’s Team Edgers Cricket Club to become Division 2 Champions of USACPL. In a classification match team Gorom Tawa Evening Club lead by Mazhar Misbah got the better of AJK Cricket Club to finish at 3rd place in the competition.

The honorable guests distributed fabulous awards and prizes to the Champions, Runner-up, top performers and participants of the T10 Night Cricket Bash. Ahmad Bajwa of Punjabi Stallions was adjudged MVP whereas Fahad Mughal of Team NY Qalandars got the award for the Best Bowler of this year’s T10 Night Cricket League. Vicky Singh of Team Punjabi Stallions grabbed the trophy for Best Batsman of T10 Night Cricket Bash.

Founder of NJ Cricket Council & USACPL and the Member of the Organizing Committee Mr. Mudassar Safdar presented the glittering Championship Trophy to the Captain of Punjabi Stallions team. He Congratulated all the participants of USACPL for playing Competitive & Excellent Cricket throughout the competition. The participating Team Captains expressed their views at the end of the competition.
