MIDDLETOWN, NJ ? Visit the Middletown Township Public Library this November for free and fun library programs for children and teens.

Here are all the programs planned:

Introduction to NaNoWriMo with Project Write Now ? November 2 at 7 p.m.: Celebrate National Novel Writing Month and learn the best tricks and tips for writing a novel during this teen program.

Ghosthunting New Jersey ? November 5 at 2:00 p.m.: Paranormal Investigators, NJ Ghost Hunters Society, will talk about their experiences with the paranormal, and the technology used in their investigations. For adults & teens.

Brightstar Cherokee Tales ? November 7 at 11:00 a.m.: Learn about the rich culture of the Cherokee People through this collection of myths, legends and folktales presented by Brightstar Theater.

National STEM Day: ZOOM with a Zoologist ? November 8 at 3:30 p.m.: Zoologist/marine biologist Katrina Poremba will visit via ZOOM to share about her scientific diving in the Amazon.

Careers in Graphic Design for Teens ? November 8 at 7:00 p.m.: Teens will learn about what types of careers they can pursue the creative industry. Ask questions and get tips from a professional designer/illustrator!

Penguin Pointers with Jenkinson?s Aquarium ? November 10 at 11 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.: Meet one of Jenkinson?s famous feathered friends while learning about them and their wild cousins. Two time slots available.

Cookie Monster?s Birthday ? November 15 at 10:00 a.m.: Celebrate Cookie Monster?s birthday with stories, songs, simple games and refreshments. Cookie Monster will not be attending as he is needed on Sesame Street!

Hearts and Minds presented by NAMI ? November 16 at 7:00 p.m.: The National Alliance of Mental Health (NAMI) will share an overview of integrated wellness and resources to help deal with problems. For teens and parents of teens.

Brain Brunch: Harry Potter Youth Mental Health Program ? November 30 at 7:00 p.m.: Discover martial arts strategies used to promote self-defense and techniques to increase mental strength in a Harry Potter-themed activity!
