Bring Your Dog To Keansburg's Runaway Rapids Sept. 9

For the second year running, you can bring your dog to Runaway Rapids to splash around for a few hours on Sunday, Sept. 9.

KEANSBURG, NJ — Let's finally bid the dog days of summer adieu with one final splash! For their second year in a row, Keansburg Amusement Park and Runaway Rapids will host their "Bark in the Waterpark" event again this year, where you can bring your dog to the water park to splash around for a few hours on Sunday, Sept. 9.

This will be open to dog owners from 4-6 p.m., once the regular hours for the park are closed. You must register in advance to participate. Get tickets here: https://www.facebook.com/event...

It is $25 per dog and $15 per human and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Monmouth County SPCA and Human Society. A local veterinarian, SPCA and Human Society representative will be attending this event.

Proof of rabies vaccination/license is required for every dog registered. It must be shown the day of entrance. No entrance allowed without proof of vaccine. The Bordatella vaccine is recommended, but not required. All dogs must have a collar and leash on hand by owner.

Swimming is for dogs only. Humans should not enter the water past the knee.
