IMA Donates 600 Cases Of Water To Middletown Fire/First Aid

The bottled water was donated by IMA primary care/urgent care and its clients and customers throughout the Bayshore.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — IMA urgent care/primary care donated over 600 cases of bottled water to local volunteer Middletown and Bayshore-area fire departments and first aid squads. The bottled water was donated by IMA and its clients and customers.

Patients dropped off 300 cases of water to IMA’s two urgent care offices and eight primary care offices. IMA then matched the donations.

“Despite the pandemic, our local first aid squads and fire departments responded to a record number of emergency calls to help residents in need," said IMA President Dr. Roger Thompson. "This bottled water will help our volunteer first responders stay hydrated during a fire or emergency. It’s a small gesture to help those who help us."

Due to the pandemic, IMA was unable to host this drive last year. This year, IMA decided to match the water donations case for case, which then doubled the donation to 600 cases of bottled water.

IMA opened the area’s first medical walk-in clinic in Shrewsbury over 20 years ago and has since opened two additional walk-in clinics in Port Monmouth and Hazlet. Additionally, IMA operates a cardiology and diagnostics center located in Shrewsbury. IMA is owned and operated by local Monmouth County physicians.
