Job Opportunity: Earn $200 As a Poll Worker

The Monmouth County Board of Elections is seeking poll workers.

To qualify, you must be a registered voter in Monmouth County and attend a poll worker training class.  

Citizens of all ages, including college and high school students, are encouraged to apply. See an application posted online.

The payment is $200 for working a Primary Election or General Election.

In an ad circulating recently, interested citizens are instructed to call 732-431-7802 x7150 to register for a training class. 

"Please do your part to assist your community in ensuring that Election Day in New Jersey is conducted with great competence and responsiveness to the public," says a notice on the State of New Jersey, Dept. of State.
