Kings Hwy. Traffic Light Still Out As Of Friday Morning
There are still pockets of power outages in Leonardo, along Red Hill Road, near Croydon Hall School and at Kings Highway/Church Street.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A series of fast-moving thunderstorms knocked out the electricity for some Middletown residents Thursday night.
As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, there are still pockets of power outages in Leonardo; along Red Hill Road; near Croydon Hall School; in Red Bank and in the area of Kings Highway/Church Street in Middletown, according to JCP&L.
The traffic light at the intersection of Kings Highway/Church Street is still out and a Middletown police officer is instead directing traffic there, said Middletown Police.

That is a major intersection. The traffic light should be back up and functioning by 1 p.m., said JCP&L.
In total, 109 customers in Middletown lost power in Thursday's storm, less than one percent of all of JCP&L's Middletown customer base.

Marlboro was much harder hit: Up to 1,500 customers still remain without power Friday morning in the Morganville section of Marlboro.
