Man Indicted on Middletown Burglary, Assault Charges
A Middletown woman was home when a Bradley Beach man burglarized her residence, police say.
A Bradley Beach man was indicted this week on charges he assaulted a female at her home during a burglary, according to court documents.
Police say Paulo Gambo, 21, entered the Middletown home on July 1, 2013. He allegedly assaulted a female resident and made threats that put her in fear of her life, according to investigators.
Gambo was indicted on a total of three charges, including second degree burglary, third degree aggravated assault and third degree terroristic threats.
An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that a Monmouth County grand jury voted there was enough evidence to proceed with a trial.
