Marijuana Charges Filed Against Six In Middletown

In various recent cases, police arrested six people, charging them with offenses, including marijuana possession.

A charge of possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana is a disorderly persons offense that is generally heard in municipal court.

According to a new release from Deputy Chief Stephen Dollinger:

Jaymere Verrett, age 24, from Main Street in Belford, was arrested on September 24 by Detective Daniel Sullivan on a charge of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was released pending a court date.

William Madero, age 21, from 7th Street in Belford, was arrested on September 27 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski on a charge of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was released pending a court date.

Valariana Testa, age 22, from Catherine Lane in Manahawkin, was arrested on September 25 by Detective Albert Scott on a charge of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. She was released pending a court date.

Corey Blascak, age 24, from Ironwood Court in Middletown, was arrested on September 25 by Detective Keith Hirschbein on charges of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Nuisance and Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute. He was held on $20,000 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Sean Haviland, age 23, from Park Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on September 25 by Detective Daniel Sullivan on charges of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obstructing the Administration of Law. He was released pending a court date.

Kyle Clayton, age 23, from Ironwood Court in Middletown, was arrested on September 25 by Detective Albert Scott on charges of Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, and Maintaining a Nuisance. He was held on $26,000 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.
