Tal Naccarato Presents An Acoustic Concert
Visit the community room for an afternoon of acoustic guitar music on Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m. Vocalist, songwriter and instrumentalist Italo “Tal” Naccarato will perform his original compositions, which highlight a deep appreciation for traditional folk and Americana Roots music, steeped heavily in rock and blues. Registration is recommended, not required.

A Musical Biography Program Celebrating Bobby Darin
Explore the ageless talent of Bobby Darin with Phil Bruschi on Wednesday, May 7 at 1 p.m. This musical biography program will travel through Darin’s remarkable career and share performances of many of his biggest hits ranging from of rock and jazz to country and folk. Registration is recommended, not required.

Spring Walking Club
Step outside and enjoy the warming weather along the story walk trail on Wednesday, May 7 and Monday, May 19 at 11 am. This group will meet in the community room lobby, weather permitting. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Registration is required at mtpl.org.
NJ Daytrips: A New Jersey Travel Guide
Get ready to explore New Jersey with presenter Kerri Sullivan on Wednesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. With photography and compelling fun facts, Sullivan will highlight interesting places to visit around the Garden State, including the Roebling Museum, Fort Mott, Whitesbog Village and more! Registration is recommended, not required.
The Quiet Chapter Book Club
Join MTPL’s silent book club on Saturday, May 10 at 2:30 pm and Monday, May 19 at 7pm. Set aside time to quietly read a book of your choice in a quiet spot at the library. Bring your own book or borrow one here. Registration is recommended, not required.
Broadway Music Bingo Night
Join the next themed Bingo Night for adults on Monday, May 12 at 7 pm. Enjoy familiar tunes from Broadway musicals and fill your Bingo card first to win! Registration is required at mtpl.org.
Retirement Roadblocks Workshop via Zoom
Join us via Zoom on Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m., as Cornerstone College Solutions discusses financial roadblocks to retirement and strategies to avoid them. This workshop will touch on longevity, inflation, sequence of returns, withdrawal rate, social security, healthcare and taxes. Registration is required at mtpl.org for event Zoom invite.
Financial Fitness: Mortgages
The second in the library's three-part spring Financial Fitness series with M&T Bank. Tuesday, May 13 at 4:30 pm. Banker Ryan Heitt will discuss the various types of mortgages in the Open Study Room. Registration is recommended, not required.
Welcome to Journaling
Join a guided journaling session at MTPL on Friday, May 16 at 10:30. Marilyn Lane, an experienced journalist and educator, will lead the session to help participants come in touch with what is flowing through their minds and see thoughts, intentions, wishes challenges, frustrations, and memories revealed in writing. Please bring a notebook or laptop for writing. In the Open Study Room. Registration is required.
Introduction to Energy Healing: Pranic Healing
Learn about energy healing with Debbie McCann-Call on Saturday, May 17 at 1:30 pm. This program will include an introduction to pranic healing demonstration as well as meditation. Registration is recommended.
SLP Musically for Adults with Special Needs
Join a fun, free, accessible music experience for adults of all abilities on Monday, May 19 at 4:30 pm. Listen or sing to modern pop, classic rock, camp songs, and some originals with speech language therapist, Miss Kat in the Community Room. No registration is required.
Shore Voices Spring Concert
Enjoy the Music of New Jersey Musicians on Tuesday, May 20 at 7 pm, performed by the popular, local a cappella group, Shore Voices. Registration is recommended, not required
Adult Zining Workshop
MTPL’s Zining group for adults, led by resident archivist Laura Poll, will meet on Wednesday, May 21 at 1 pm in the Community Room. No artistic skills needed; all supplies provided. Registration is encouraged but not required at mtpl.org.
Adult Coloring
Come to the Community Room for a coloring session on Thursday, May 22 at 10 am. Join a relaxing morning of coloring pictures and socializing. Coloring pages, pencils, crayons and other supplies will be provided. You may bring your own coloring books or materials if you wish. Registration recommended, not required.
Disney Trivia
Calling all Disney Adults! Grab your Mickey and Minnie ears and come test your knowledge of the Disney cinematic universe at Disney Trivia on Thursday, May 22 at 7 pm! Registration is required at mtpl.org.
Murder at the Masquerade
Celebrate National Mystery Month and join this New Orleans-style masquerade party to solve a murder mystery on Thursday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dress up and awards will be presented for closest guess, most in-character and best acted-out death! Light refreshments will be offered. For ages 18+ and limited to 10-15 people. Registration is required at mtpl.org.
