Middletown 2021 Election: Rocky Rios Challenges Tony Perry

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — There is one Township Committee seat up for election this year in Middletown and that is the one currently held by Middletown Mayor Tony Perry, a Republican.

Perry intends to run for re-election, and he will be challenged by Democrat Rocky Rios.

This past Monday was the deadline for candidates to submit their names to run.

However, the deadline for independent candidates (not running under any official party) who wish to run is June 8, 2021.

The election will be this November.
