Middletown Arts Center announces Fall 2025 Class Schedule
New class offerings this fall are Youth Beginner Beats (ages 8-12, a group drum class), adult drum jam and adult guitar lessons.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ ? The Middletown Arts Center announces its Fall 2025 class schedule.
Fall into creativity this season with a variety of classes in art, theater, music, dance, wellness and more. Registration is open now.
The Middletown Arts Center?s FALL Session Registration is now open to children and adults of all abilities for classes and workshops running September 15 ? December 20. The arts center offers a variety of affordable classes in Theater, Improv, Dance, Visual Arts, Music, Wellness and more in a 23,000-square-foot facility with a newly renovated state-of-the-art dance studio, theater, art gallery and art studios.

Registrants can book online at www.middletownarts.org, by phone at 732.706.4100 or onsite. You do not need to be a Middletown resident to participate in Middletown Arts Center classes. Discounted rates apply to MAC members. A complete class listing detailing all the programs is available on the website.
New classes offered this fall include Youth Beginner Beats (ages 8-12), a group drum and percussion class led by David Halpern, Adult Drum Jam with David Halpern and an Adult Weekly Guitar Workshop taught by Andy McDonough.

Other new offerings include Pre-Teen Art Gallery Class (ages 8-11), Teen Art Gallery Class (ages 12+) and Adult Adventures in Art taught by Gianna Manzardo, who has more than twenty years of experience delivering visual and art education for elementary, middle and high school students. Instructor Laura Mandile will teach Studio Skills for Artists to students with some painting experience who want to sharpen their foundational skills and elevate their work. Laura is an award-winning artist with a career spanning years as an illustrator, art director and art teacher. She holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts (NY).
The Middletown Arts Center?s Dance Program continues under new instructors, Elizabeth DeLeo and Christy Amato. With an extensive background in Ballet and Musical Theatre, Elizabeth DeLeo has danced at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Disney World, Hershey Park and more. She has a Bachelor?s Degree in Arts Leadership with a concentration in Dance from Iona University. She will teach Youth Pre-Ballet (ages 3-5), Youth Ballet (ages 6-9) and Youth Jazz & Broadway Dance (ages 7-9 and 10-12). Christy Amato is an accomplished dance educator with over 15 years of experience in the field. She holds a master?s degree in dance education from Rutgers University and is certified to teach dance in both New York and New Jersey. She will be teaching Youth Tap (ages 10-14).
Adult Stand-Up Comedy and Adult Improv Classes taught by Trish Tyler are back this Fall. Both culminate in student shows for family and friends. Trish is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Chicago ? studying Improv, Musical Improv and Directing. Notable improv credits include the Del Close Marathon, Philly Fringe Fest and the TBS Just for Laughs Festival. Some of her corporate improv clients include Northwestern University, MLB and Gwen Stefani.
The MAC Wellness Program offers a new Friday Yoga in addition to the Saturday Class with an optional Meditation taught by Mimi Cross. Cross, a 200+ hour certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor, is the creator of Body of Writing, a practice that adds a dimension to the traditional mind-body-spirit discipline of Yoga: Story.
Zumbini with Lisa Zwerin is a dynamic Mommy and Me music and movement experience for adults with children ages 0-4. Zumbini celebrates the power of music to enhance our lives, stimulate learning, inspire dance movement and strengthen the bond between parent and child.
Other popular programs returning this Fall include the acclaimed Student Theater Academy led by award-winning director and teaching artist Kathy Connolly. The Academy offers a Fall Mini-Musical Theater Intensive, Beginning Acting (ages 6-8) and Acting (ages 9-12 and 13+).
Doodle Dude inspires students this season with classes in Halloween & the Holiday Scene, The Art of Gaming and Create Like a Famous Artist (all ages 5-12). Miss Fish offers her Watercolors & More (ages 4-8), as well as Fabulous Art for Fantastic Artists (ages 8-12).
Adult Painting Workshops will again be held this Fall: Painting Workshop with Grace Graupe Pillard and the Evening Adult Painting Workshop with June Wilson.

Free parking is available onsite with additional free parking available in the station-metered lot on weekday evenings after 6 p.m. and on weekends. The MAC Annex Education Building is located at 121 Kings Highway, Middletown 07748 (next to Middletown Reformed Church).
