Middletown Gets State Money To Repave Sleepy Hollow Road
The roadwork will run from Chapel Hill Road to Stavola Road South. It won't begin until 2021.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The state of New Jersey recently allocated a total of $161 million to more than 500 towns for road repairs and improvements.
Middletown will receive $270,000 for improvements to Sleepy Hollow Road.
The roadwork will run from Chapel Hill Road to Stavola Road South. Design will likely take place in early 2021, with construction at the end of 2021 or early 2022, said Middletown Township.

Under the Municipal Aid grant program, each county is allocated a share of the total funding based on population and the number of local centerline miles, according to the governor's office. Municipalities compete for portions of their county's share.
