Middletown Launches Business Survey

Middletown wants to expand its business base in order to shift the municipal tax burden away from residential properties, so a survey launched this week is aimed at gauging the concerns of business owners to find out how the town can be more business-friendly, a report in the Asbury Park Press said.

The survey has been mailed to about 1,000 business owners and asks questions about the nature of one’s business, its needs, costs locally, and also asks business owners to rate township services, the report in the press said.
