Middletown Police Catch Man Climbing Out Window Of Burglarized Home, Cops Say
A marijuana grinder and a video games are among the items the defendant is accused of stealing, the complaint signed against him said.

Middletown detectives were on patrol when they spotted a man climbing out of the window of a Palmer Avenue home he had just burglarized, authorities said.
Evan Savulich, 19, of Harmony Road in Middletown, was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The two Middletown plainclothes detectives, Danny Sullivan and Keith Hirschbein, were on an anti-crime patrol when they spotted Savulich on Tuesday afternoon and quickly took him into custody, police said.

According to the complaint signed against him, Savulich stole a Playstation game console, video games, a handbag and a marijuana grinder after entering the home through a window.
His bail was set at $10,000, and he was sent to the Monmouth County jail, in Freehold Township.

In a post on the department’s Facebook page, Chief R. Craig Weber praised the detectives and called their work outstanding.
