Middletown ShopRite Opens In Its New Home June 23
The Middletown ShopRite moved across Hwy. 35 at Harmony Road into the building formerly occupied by Sears.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown ShopRite will be opening in its new location across Rt. 35 on June 23, the store announced Wednesday on Facebook.
The Middletown ShopRite relocated to the southbound side of Hwy. 35 at Harmony Road. It moved into the building formerly occupied by the Middletown Sears. This is the Saker ShopRite owned by the Saker family.
The Sears building had to undergo construction so the ShopRite could move in. The Middletown community has been eagerly awaiting the construction to finish for months.

The news that the Middletown ShopRite was relocating was first announced in May of 2020.
