Middletown Woman Finds Ring By Livoti's; Eager To Locate Owner

A woman found a wedding or engagement ring in the parking lot of the Middletown Livoti's last Wednesday, May 5. Let's find the owner!

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A Middletown woman said she found a wedding or engagement ring in the parking lot of the Middletown Livoti's Old World Market last Wednesday, May 5, and she is very eager to locate the ring's owner.

"It was about 5 or 5:30 p.m. last Wednesday," said Susan Jacobowitz. "My husband said let's go to Livoti's and as we're getting out of the car, I saw this silver-looking circle on the ground."

Jacobowitz said the ring is a band of what appears to be real diamonds. She asked in Livoti's and the nearby nail salon in that complex, Onyx, and she said nobody at either place claimed it.

She hesitated to describe the ring in too much detail, as she wants its rightful owner to contact her and describe their missing ring.

"It definitely looks like a wedding or engagement ring," she said. "I would just hope that if I ever lost one of my rings or the stone from my engagement ring, which was my grandmother's, that someone would save the ring and hold it for me, as I am doing."
