Middletown's 9/11 Service Will Be At 7 P.M. Monday
Here are the 37 Middletown residents who were killed in 9/11:
MIDDLETOWN, NJ ? Middletown will hold its annual 9/11 ceremony at 7 p.m. this Monday, Sept. 11.
The ceremony will be held in the WTC Memorial Gardens, located next to the Middletown Arts Center (36 Church Street). The tribute will be held rain or shine.

On Monday night, it will be a silent memorial service to observe the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Prior to the ceremony, the Middletown Township Fire Department will raise a large American flag as a bagpiper plays music. The service will begin with Middletown Township Police Department Honor Guard presenting the colors, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony.
Middletown Township Fire Chief John Waltz Jr. will then toll a bell 37 times in memory of the 37 residents Middletown residents who were killed that day. The final tolling of the bell will begin a silent candlelit procession through the World Trade Center Memorial Gardens.
Please park in the train station lot directly across the street. Police will be directing traffic.
The Middletown Survivor Tree, a descendant of the 9/11 Memorial Survivor Tree that endured the World Trade Center terror attacks, will be on public display.
