Monmouth County Hosts Arts & Music Festival May 1 In Lincroft

After it was canceled last spring due to coronavirus, the popular festival is back this year.

LINCROFT, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System is hosting its annual Creative Arts & Music Festival from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 at Thompson Park on Newman Springs Road in Lincroft.

Admission and parking for the festival are free.

This juried arts festival features specially selected artists’ works of pottery, photography, jewelry, paintings and other mediums. This family-friendly event also includes free activities and artist demonstrations by Kate O’Grady, Konstantin Zingerman and Kathleen Beausoleil.

There will also be live music throughout the event. The schedule is as follows:

Outdoor Music Tent

  • The Band of the Two Rivers from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • The Last Whippoorwill Band from 12:30-2 p.m.
  • The Haven from 2:30-4 p.m.

Activity Barn Music

  • Allie Pritchard from 10-11:30 a.m.
  • Joe Frame from 12-2 p.m.
  • Gary Nokes from 2:30-4 p.m.

Musicians on a Mission will perform in the Theatre Barn and The New Jersey State Youth Orchestra on the Gallery Patio.

The event is sponsored by World Subaru. Please note that face masks are required inside buildings or when social distancing cannot be maintained. Due to occupancy limits set by the Governor’s Executive Order, there may be a short wait before entering buildings.
