Mother, Two Sons Among Six Arrested On Drug Charges In Middletown, Cops Say

Police said they executed a search warrant at a Middletown home, following a six-month investigation into the sale of heroin.

Middletown police arrested a mother and two sons, along with three other people, as part of an investigation into the sale of heroin from a township home, authorities said.

On Friday, police executed a search warrant at a Rutledge Drive home, following a six-month investigation led by Detectives Keith Hirschbein and Daniel Sullivan, police said.

Police arrested five Middletown residents, along with a South Plainfield woman:

  • Wendy Hendricks, 61, of Rutledge Drive, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Unlawful Possession of Xanax and Maintaining a Nuisance. She was held on $11,000 bail with an option to post 10 percent.
  • Matthew Hendricks, 32, of Rutledge Drive, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug. He was held on $44,000 bail.
  • Taylor Hendricks, 28, of Rutledge Drive, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. He was held on $12,000 bail.
  • Timothy McGrath, 29, of Rutledge Drive, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe and Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug. He was held on $34,000 bail.
  • Christopher Hartman, 30, from Fairview Drive, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was held in lieu of $7,000 bail.
  • Dana Bostwick, 34, from Field Avenue in South Plainfield, was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was held on $11,000 bail with an option to post 10 percent.

All bail was set by state Superior Court Judge Honora O’Brien‐Kilgallen, sitting in Freehold.
