Obituary: Bryan Macey, 29, of Middletown; Athlete, Graduated from Mater Dei High School

Bryan Macey, 29, was born in Belford before moving to Leonard. He passed away on September 12, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.

Bryan Macey, 29, of Leonardo, NJ, died on September 12, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Belford before moving to Leonardo.

He attended St. Mary’s Elementary school. He graduated Mater Dei High School where he played varsity baseball, basketball and was on the bowling team.

He attended Brookdale Community College. He was an avid Yankee and Giant fan. Bryan enjoyed trips to AC and playing Texas Holdem with his family and friends.

He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed by all.

Surviving are his parents, Carmine and Veronica Pagano, Jr.; brother, David Isaksen; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Pagano; three step-brothers, Carmine (Gina) Pagano, David (Lisa) Pagano, and Thomas (Victoria) Pagano; step-sister, Alyson Pagano; 8 nieces and nephews; five uncles, Michael (Donna) Ferrara, Frank (Barbara) Ferrara, Chris Ferrara and his partner David Boniface, Vincent (Colleen) Ferrara, and Anthony Pagano; three aunts, Angela (Robert) Wetjen, Maryann (Jon) Scala, and Dorothy (John) Griffin; as well as 18 Cousins.

Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Maryann and O’Nofrio Ferrara; and paternal grandfather, Carmine A. Pagano, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 17 at 9:30 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., Middletown. Cremation will be private.
