Obituary: Louise E. Miner, 85, of Port Monmouth, Worked in Red Bank Post Office for Several Years
Louise was born in Jersey City and worked in the Red Bank Post Office for 22 years.

Louise E Miner, 85, of Port Monmouth, NJ, died on August 15, 2014 at her home. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Port Monmouth all of her life. Louise worked as a confidential secretary to the Director of Human Resources for US Post Office Red Bank for 22 years. She was past-president of postal carriers union. She was a member of the St. Agnes Senior Club and a long time volunteer for the St. Agnes Passion Play. Louise was a parishioner of the United Methodist Church, Belford.
Surviving are her niece, Deborah Meehan of Middletown; grand-niece, Jessica Meehan of Leonardo; grand-nephew, Justin and his wife Michelle Meehan of Belford; her great-grandniece, Lily Meehan; and her beloved caregiver, Tracey.
Louise was preceded in death by her brothers, August Jr., Robert, Raymond, Leonard, and James; her sisters, Eleanor and Grace; and her nephew, Curtis Meehan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 3 to 6 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 18th at 10:30am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery Middletown.
