Obituary: Robert Schoonhoven, 61: Known as "Bobby Blue Eyes"; Former Draft for Detroit Tigers
Robert Schoonhoven, of Middletown/Atlantic Highlands, was known for his kindness and outgoing personality.

Robert Schoonhoven, known by Bobby, Bobby blue eyes, or Schoony passed away on Tuesday, August 19th of natural causes.
Robert was born on January 9, 1953 to Doris and Frank Schoonhoven at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from Memorial High in West New York and was a stand out baseball player, being drafted by the Detroit Tigers.
Robert was a long time resident of the Middletown/Atlantic Highlands area and recently was living in southern Florida. He was known for his kindness and outgoing personality.

He is survived by his son,” Christopher, sister Doris Ferrence, brother John, and many loving nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday August 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at John F Pfleger funeral home 115 Tindall Rd. Middletown. Funeral Service Monday August 25, 2014 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview NJ.
