Obituary: Thomas J. Coffey, 68, of Lincroft: Avid Sports Fan and Photographer

Thomas J. Coffey, 68, of Lincroft, NJ, died on October 9, 2014 at his home. He was born in Staten Island, NY on November 6, 1945 to Thomas V. and Amelia Coffey. Thomas worked as a truck driver for Huff Construction for over 20 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge on Staten Island. Thomas enjoyed photography and was an avid Yankees, Giants and Rangers fan.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Scott Mullin of Atlantic Highlands; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Donna Coffey of Lincroft; his grandchildren, Thomas, Christopher, and Juliana; and his sister, Eleanor Toolen.

Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna (nee Pembroke), and his parents, Thomas V. and Amelia (nee Hine) Coffey.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at a time to be announced at St. Agnes’ RC Church, 103 Center Av., Atlantic Highlands.
