Polls Open Saturday, Who's Running In 2024 Middletown Election

Nov. 5 is election day, but early in-person voting starts Saturday. Here's what you need to know:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ ?Election day is Nov. 5, but early, in-person voting begins this Saturday, Oct. 26.

Middletown's early voting location is the Middletown Senior Center East Wing, located at the Croydon Hall Municipal Complex (900 Leonardville Road, Leonardo).

Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.?8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.?6:00 p.m. from Oct. 26 - Nov. 3. No appointment needed; just show up.

If you plan to drop off your mail-in ballot, there is a drop-off box at the Middletown Township Public Library (55 New Monmouth Road), and at Croydon Hall. There is also mail-in voting.

U.S. Senate

South Jersey Congressman Andy Kim, Democrat, is running against Republican hotel entrepreneur Curtis Bashaw for New Jersey's U.S. Senate seat vacated by Bob Menendez after he was convicted in July for accepting bribes of gold bars and cash from three New Jersey businessmen, and acting as a foreign agent for the Egyptian government.

U.S. Congress:

North Middletown (Bayshore area of Keansburg, Belford, Leonardo) is represented by Congressman Frank Pallone, a Democrat. He is challenged by Republican Scott Fegler, who lives in Highlands. Here's a Q&A with both candidates.

South Middletown is represented by Congressman Chris Smith, a Republican, challenged by Democrat Matthew Jenkins.

Middletown Township Committee, voters are asked to choose one:

  • Middletown Mayor Tony Perry, Republican, asking voters to elect him for a third term as Middletown's mayor
  • Mike Morris, Democrat
