A Screening Of Benedict Cumberbatch Playing Hamlet At Monmouth University Will Be Shown This Week

A screening of Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch performing Hamlet will be shown at the Pollak Theatre at Monmouth University on Oct. 15, according to the University‘s website.

The performance is directed by Lyndsey Turner and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions. The screening gets underway at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $22 and can be purchased at Buy Tickets.

Hamlet’s country is preparing for war. Hamlet is forced to avenge his father’s death, but finds himself paralyzed by the impossibility of his predicament. Both his sanity and the security of the state are threatened.
