Middletown residents gathered Wednesday morning to silently remember their family, friends and neighbors killed twelve years ago on Sept. 11.
A processional laid wreaths next to a sign that read "We will never forget" as onlookers bowed their heads in quiet reflection.
After a brief observance, everyone filed under the arch and through the reflection garden, pausing to take in the 37 memorial stones for each Middletown resident lost that day.
