Suicide Prevention Talk Nov. 2 Hosted By Middletown School District

MIDDLETOWN, NJ ? The Middletown school district will host a suicide prevention talk at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 2 in the media center of High School North.

This is open to all parents and anyone in the Middletown community.

The talk will be given by a licensed professional counselor and will educate parents on the signs that a teen or tween is thinking about suicide, and how to help vulnerable youth in our communities.

As the Middletown community is still reeling from the death of a 14-year-old local girl in September, bullying was a big topic at the most recent Middletown school board meeting:
