Veteran's Day Parade To Be Held In Middletown

Middletown will hold its 58th annual Veterans’ Day Parade on Sunday, Nov. 8.

The parade is sponsored by Middletown VFW 2179 and Middletown Township.

Marchers will assemble at 12:30 p.m. at Bayview School, 300 Leonardville Rd, The parade begins at 1 p.m. Participants will march “through Campbell’s Junction, turning right at Cherry Tree Farm Road, right at Wilson Avenue and right at Garrett Place ending at the rear entrance to VFW Post 2179,” a township news release said.

Courage, Sacrifice and Duty – Honoring our Military Veterans is the theme of this year’s parade.

After the parade, refreshments will be served at the VFW Post at 1 Veterans Lane in the Port Monmouth section of town.
