West Keansburg Officially Has a Hazlet Township Mailing Address

Amidst a government shutdown, at least one piece of business was taken care of. West Keansburg is now officially considered Hazlet Township through the U.S. Postal Service.

The formal name change will be applied to all West Keansburg addresses through the U.S. Postal Service.

"After years of attempted name changes and continuous effort of the governing body to unify the Township, West Keansburg residents will now share the same name in their mailing addresses effective immediately," Interim Business Administrator Dennis Pino said in an email.

Mail addressed to West Keansburg will be delivered without interruptions, but residents are urged to begin using their new address now.

The Zip Code will not change and remain 07734-2913.
