2 Cars Stolen In Montville: Police

The cars had the key fobs in them at the time, police said.

MONTVILLE, NJ — Two high-end cars were stolen in Montville last week, police said.

On Jan. 9, a 2017 land Rover was stolen from a Sunset Court driveway. Two days later, on the 11th, a 2015 Cadillac Escalade was stolen from a Changebridge Road driveway.

Police said both cars were located and recovered in Essex County. They were unlocked with the key fobs inside of them at the time of the theft, police said.

"We are asking residents please be sure that your vehicles are locked and that all key fobs are removed from your vehicle," police said.
