Columbus Day: What's Open, What's Closed in Montville
Town hall is closed but the library and schools will be open.
Columbus Day is Monday, Oct. 14 and many local and federal government offices and services will be closed (those not already affected by the government shutdown) because it's a federal holiday.
Columbus Day has been observed on the second Monday of October since 1971, according to history.com.

- Morris County government offices and the Morris County Library will be closed on Monday
