218 Heroin Folds, Cocaine Bags Found During Traffic Stop, Police Say

Sussex County pair face drug possession and distribution charges after being stopped in Pine Brook Monday night.

Two Sussex County residents are facing drug charges following a motor vehicle stop Monday night in Pine Brook, Montville Police said.

Joseph M. McGlinch, 30 and Kimberly E. Casciano, 29, both of Newton, were pulled over in the area of Route 46 and Mountain Road for an illegal right turn at about 11 p.m. Monday, police said.

While talking to the two occupants, officers noticed drug paraphernalia and found "218 wax paper folds containing a white substance believed to be heroin, several small bags of cocaine, needles and additional drug paraphernalia," police said.

McGlinch also gave the officers a made-up name when they first spoke to him, according to a release from Montville Police Capt. Rudy Appelmann.

McGlinch was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, distribution of heroin, conspiracy, hindering apprehension, possession of needles and drug paraphernalia.

Casciano was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, distribution of heroin, conspiracy, possession of needles, drug paraphernalia, improper turn, DWI, and several other motor vehicle violations.

Both were sent to the Morris County Jail on $50,000 bail.
