Gravestone Symbolism, Popular Tunes at Amphitheater This Week
A look at the week ahead in Montville Township.
Outdoor Concert: Concerts in the Park 2013 continues 7 p.m. Thursday with Flipside playing popular tunes for all to enjoy at the Montville Community Park Amphitheater. There are two other bands scheduled to play this month, wrapping up the series: Full Circle and Parrot Beach.
Gravestone Art: The Montville Township Public Library will be hosting a program at 7 p.m. Wednesday that explores the meaning behind gravestone art and how to interpret the symbols carved in them. "Gravestone Art & Symbolism" will be presented by the Wise Owl Workshop.
Pathways' Rock Band: The Montville-based group was invited to play at a Jonas Brothers Sound Check party. Stay tuned for a story on how that went.
Freshly Sanded Basketball Court: We saw the gym at Montville Township High School was spruced up. Look out for pictures of the makeover.
