Jeep Stolen From Montville Driveway

It was unlocked, police said.

MONTVILLE, NJ — A Jeep was stolen out of a Montville driveway Wednesday night, Montville police said.

The Jeep was taken overnight from a driveway on Patrick Court, police said. It was unlocked with the key fob inside of it.

There has been an increase in car thefts in the area, particularly luxury cars. Police told Patch thieves use apps to located fobs inside unlocked cars. Some thefts have happened at gunpoint in the owner's driveway.
