Joe Giudice Begins His 41-Month Prison Sentence Wednesday: Report
Giudice failed to report $1 million in income from 2004 to 2008 and plead guilty to charges filed against him.

MONTVILLE, N.J. – Joe Giudice will begin his 41-month prison sentence Wednesday and took some time to enjoy his last hours of freedom with family, eonline.com reported.
Giudice, his wife, and fellow ex-con Teresa, their four daughters, and friends had a going away party at the Blu Alehouse in Riverdale. Giudice’s mother, sisters, brothers, aunts, and uncles were there.
Giudice, a Montville resident, reportedly told everyone to “Stop making me cry, I’m not going to the electric chair,” eonline.com reported.

John Harms, a friend of the family, owns the Blu Alehouse.
“My partners and I have gotten to know Joe over time and we wanted to do something nice for him two nights before he went away—a way for everyone to say goodbye,” Harms told eonline.com.

Teresa served about 12 months of a 15-month federal prison sentence last January and was released Dec. 23. She served the remainder of her sentence under house arrest. She pleaded guilty to fraud after a 41-count indictment was brought against the couple.
Guidice entered a plea deal and a was sentenced to 41 months in prison. The government said Giudice failed to pay taxes on the nearly $1 million he reportedly made between 2004 and 2008.
Giudice and the daughters’ lives were chronicled in a special three-part spin-off series on Bravo called “Teresa Checks In.”
