Organization Sponsors "Just Mercy" Screening and Discussion Panel on Criminal Justice System

MONTVILLE - Join OneMontville and Montville Township for an eye-opening discussion on the movie “Just Mercy” and issues related to racism in the criminal justice system.
This free event begins with a free link to watch “Just Mercy,” starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx, any time from Oct. 9-11. “Just Mercy” tells the true story of Walter McMillian, a man wrongly accused of murder in 1986 and sentenced to death. The film is rated PG-13.
On Wednesday, Oct 14, from 8:00-9:00 p.m., our virtual panel will share their insights on the issues of systemic racism and social injustice in the criminal justice system. The panel will be moderated by OneMontville President Shari Schwartz and Montville Township Committeeman Dr. Matt Kayne.
